McGill Toastmasters has been visiting the McGill Continuing education advanced English class to introduce the club, showcase a speech and a speech evaluation, and answer questions from the students.

Due to the pandemic, this year was a special experience as our members delivered the speech and evaluation with a mask on. The audience couldn’t see the speakers’ facial expressions, and our members successfully leveraged other techniques to enhance the speech, including vocal variety, body language, eye contact. Congratulations to our members Ivan, Anderson, Reem, Calvin, and Nadia who delivered speeches and speech evaluations in front of three different classes this year!

Many thanks to the teachers Michael Langevin, Christine, and Sarah Ann Rooney for inviting McGill Toastmasters to their class!
